I took this photo a few weeks back along with many others. But this is one of my favorites. Bentley is so serious and curious. She loves sitting in the grass.. defintely not crawling.. but loves sitting.. and playing with the grass and leaves. I also love the fact that I can see the top of her scar from surgery. I know as she gets older she will be trying to hide it and cover it up.. but right now it seems to peek through every outfit and it is such an amazing story and reminds me just how strong my baby girl is. I can't help but to smile. She's so amazing!
I have lots of pictures from this weekend and even a video of Bentley swimming for her first time. I will be posting about these this week.

She is so beautiful! I know exactly what you're saying about the scar. My little sister Anna had heart surgery when she was a baby, and she loved it when my momma would tell her how it was her "battle scar" and how brave she was. :) She went to heaven in 2004 (6 years old), and that is such a sweet memory that I have of her!

Absolutely adorable. Don't you just love their curiosity. You are so lucky that she will wear a headband. My daughter will not let me touch her head for anything. If I do get one on it don't stay on long. LOL
She's precious.
That truly is a beautiful little girl. Someday that scar will be a poignant reminder for her, too.

we actually followed up near by, but I had a voicemail from Dr.Slesnick, Dylons cardiologist at TCH and I have to call him in the morning...we will go back sometime, just not sure how soon. I wish we wouldn't have gone to a nearby place for his checkup, it left me woried. I'll try and let you know what Dr.S has to say. I pray to hear good news for Bentley's check up...you have such gorgeous kids!!
